GTC Vereinigte Skischule Oberwiesenthal, Owner K. Süß

K. Süß, the proprietor of the Vereinigte Skischule Oberwiesenthal, is entitled to collect, store and process the customers' personal data insofar as this is required for the purposes of the business relationship.

All deliveries and services of the Ski School made by online order via the internet and all other online services are subject to these Terms & Conditions.

  1. If a group should be reduced to less than 4 participants for any reason, the Ski School reserves the right to assign them to another group or to reduce the number of lessons.
  2. Several day courses are held only on consecutive days and at the same course time. Course extensions may be booked until 5.00 pm of the day before in the Ski School Office, and are only possible on consecutive days.
  3. Maximum course duration is 6 days; after this a new course starts.
  4. Changes of instructors are possible due to our flexible organisation.
  5. The costs for ski pass and equipment are not included in the course fee.
  6. Course participants of levels 0 and 1 do not need a ski pass on the first day. The use of the belt conveyors during lesson hours in the ski school area is included in the course price.
  7. Private lessons have to be cancelled 5.00 pm one day in advance, otherwise the full course price will be charged.
  8. Money is refunded only by reason of illness and on presentation of a medical certificate. Only unused days (difference) will be refunded.
  9. More flexible regulations for children aged 3 - 4 years: The unused units (remaining amount) may be reimbursed without presentation of a medical certificate.
  10. Bookings may be cancelled up to 48 hours prior to course start; a handling fee of 10% of the booking total, and a minimum of 5 Euro will be charged.
  11. You can apply for refund payments in the Ski School Office and in our branches.
  12. In the case of bookings already made online, for which the course has not started, a refund may be made into a bank account. In this case the bank details, including the booking number, must be sent by e-mail.
  13. The Ski School accepts no liability for skiing accidents and their consequences, unless they are caused by negligence. It is the responsibility of course participants to take out accident and liability insurance.
  14. Changes to the programme due to weather conditions are reserved for all courses. Course cancellations due to weather conditions (force majeure) will not be refunded. Courses take place regardless of the weather conditions. The Ski School does not assume responsibility for failures of the cable cars and lift facilities and, in this case, does not refund any costs arising from unused lesson hours. The course ticket is not transferable! Unused course days expire!

GTC for Rental Items

  1. The following terms and conditions form an integral part of this rental contract.
  2. The hirer undertakes to treat the rented item and and accessories with care and to protect them from damage.
  3. The hirer is fully responsible for the rental item.
  4. Bookings may be cancelled up to 48 hours prior to course start; a handling fee of 10% of the booking total, and a minimum of 5 Euro will be charged.
  5. You can apply for refund payments in the Ski School Office and in our branches.
  6. The rental item is not insured. The hirer is liable to the equipment owner for loss or damage.
  7. In the event of theft of the rental item, the customer has to report the theft at the local police station, and hand a copy of the police report over to the lessor.
  8. In case of loss of a rental item or accessories through theft or total loss, the hirer will be charged 50% of the buying price.
  9. In case of damage of the rental item through improper use, the repair costs based on the current price list will be charged.
  10. Exchanging the rental item for an item of the same value is possible during the course of the rental period. Exchanging the rental item for an item of a higher category is possible for a surcharge.
  11. The rental items must be returned during the rental centre's opening hours on the last day of rental.
  12. If the rented items are not returned in time, for whatever reason, 30 days after the end of the rental period the lessor will report the hirer to the police.
  13. The lessor has the right to ask for security in the form of the provision of a personal document (passport, ID card, driving licence) or a deposit. The provision of security is not valid as a possible purchasing price for the equipment.

Payment

Credit card payments in favour of the Ski School are collected by TREKKSOFT AG, Hauptstrasse 15, 3800 Matten, Switzerland (TREKKSOFT). TREKKSOFT appears as TREKKSOFT TOUR BOOKING on your credit card statement. The domain, in which you issue and edit your payment is the property of TREKKSOFT and is operated by TREKKSOFT. Place of jurisdiction, place of fulfilment and governing law

Place of fulfilment is the central headquarter of the Ski School/the Ski Rental. Place of jurisdiction for any disputes will be the competent court at the central headquarters of the Ski School/the Ski Rental. German law applies. The contract language is German.
